Enrico Cucchiani is Chief Executive Offiver and Founding Partner of TGI-Think Global Investments; TGI is a Private Equity and Advisory Firm focused on excellent European mid-corporates with the objective to support their global expansion and technological upgrade. He also holds the following non-executive positions: Director, Member of the Executive Committee, Chair of the Fundraising Committee and Member of the International Advisory Board, Bocconi University; Board Member, ISPI, Institute for International Political Studies, Milan: Board Member, Weizmann Institute Europe; Director, RSA Insurance Group, London; Director and Member of the Executive Committee¸ US-Italy Council; Member, Hong Kong-Europe Business Council; Director, Amici della Scuola Superiore Normale di Pisa; Senior Advisor, WI Harper Venture Capital Fund, San Francisco, Taipei, Beijing. Previously, he was Group CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group and prior to that he was a member of the “Vorstand” (Executive Board) of Allianz SE, in Munich, where he was responsible for the business in major European Markets, Latin America and Africa; in addition, he had global responsibility for Property and Casualty and for “Direct” distribution. Before joining Allianz, Enrico Cucchiani had been CEO of a global luxury goods group and had worked with McKinsey in Italy, London and New York. In the past he has also been a Non-Executive Director of Unicredit Banking Group and Pirelli; Chairman of MIB School of Management; Member of the Board of the La Scala Philarmonica; Member of the Advisory Council of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is Cavaliere del Lavoro, highest honorary title awarded by the President of Italy. Enrico Cucchiani holds a degree with highest honors in Economics from Bocconi University and an MBA from Stanford where he was a Fulbright Fellow; he also carried out research work at the Harvard Business School.
