Maurizio Sella is Chairman of Banca Sella as well as of Banca Patrimoni Sella & C. and of Banca Sella Holding, holding company of Gruppo Banca Sella. Within the Italian Association of Banks (ABI), he has been member of the Board since 1976, of Executive Committee since 1981, Vice Chairman since 1996 and Chairman between 1998 and July 2006, member of Executive Committee after that date. Within the Fédération Bancaire de l’Union Européenne he has been Board member between 1998 and September 2006 and Chairman between 1998 and 2004. He is Board member again since 2010 and “alternate” of the Chairman Christian Clausen in the Sepa Council. At the present he is “alternate” of the Chairman Frédéric Oudéa in the Euro Retayl Payments Board since 2014. His other present appointments include: Board member of Compagnie Financière Martin Maurel (Marseille) since 1993, of Buzzi Unicem since 2000, member of the Council for the U.S. and Italy since 1990 and member of its Board since 1999, member of the Italian Group of the Trilateral Commission since 1999, of the Institut International d’Etudes Bancaires since 2000, Board Member of Assonime since 2003, Vice Chairman since 2011 and Chairman since 2013. Maurizio Sella graduated in Turin from the Faculty of Economics and Trade in 1965.
