As Senior Manager at the Group International Office for Tata Sons, worked closely with Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s current Minister of External Affairs and former Group President, Tata Sons, who led international strategy and business development for the Tata Group. Built and led cross-functional teams, including most recently, establishing Tata Sons’ first policy team, where managed a team to develop the Group’s public policy strategy. Previously, worked with The Cohen Group, a Washington DC based business advisory firm founded by former US Secretary of Defence, William S. Cohen. Extensive experience working across cultures, including being one of the first non-Japanese employees to be hired directly by Hitachi Ltd’s headquarters in Tokyo. Throughout his career, worked closely with senior leaders across governments and the private sector. Represented the organization in various fora, participating in and leading complex negotiations on behalf of the organization’s leadership, the exposure providing a unique understanding of high-level decision-making processes, as well as firsthand experience in leading and executing projects and strategies in challenging environments.
